Dinagyang 2013 Festival

 

The Dinagyang is a religious and cultural festival in Iloilo City, Philippines held on the fourth Sunday of January, or right after the Sinulog In Cebu and the Ati-Atihan in Aklan. It is held both to honor the Santo Niño and to celebrate the arrival on Panay of Malay settlers and the subsequent selling of the island to them by the Atis.

 

Dinagyang 2013 will be the 45th annual  Festival Celebration in of honor of Sr. Sto.  Niño in Iloilo City Philippines.

Iloilo City once again welcome the year 2013 for the 3rd time with a New Year Countdown from ABS-CBN MOR 91.1, with 2 nights of food festival and a spectacular fireworks display from Iloilo's own Scorpion fireworks at Iloilo Muelle Loney river.
